Product Description
This is a charming Victorian Rainbow Lamp Shade produced in the 1890s. Truly pleasing to the eye, it has a ribbon striped cranberry and blue rainbow glass pattern with ruffled rim and rounded curves. The ruby colouring is light from some angles and deep from others. It is an excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs; only an inside exposed 1/4" bubble. Looks terrific when lit up. Measures 4" tall. From a decorator's perspective, it is one of the more versatile examples of Victorian Art Glass. INV #14-1263.
