An early example of Peachblow or Wild Rose, it was produced by the New England Glass Company between 1886 and 1888 while they were located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It is in pristine condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. New England's Peachblow was made in matte and shiny finishes, with glass that shaded from deep rose at the rim to opaque cream at the bottom. What makes this matte peachblow bowl unique (and exclusive to New England Glass), is that it is almost the same color and finish both inside and out. Measures 8 1/2" tall. A beautiful and uncommon piece of Victorian American Art Glass. INV # 14-1136.
